These Three Rockers would not fit on the Shaft, The bearings were crushed because the main body where they are pressed in was not deep enough.

Ed Page and I installed the last Three Harland Sharp Billet Rocker Arms.

Working on installing the Water Crossover, Needed to carefully Grind the Butler Aluminum Valley Pan to get the passenger side to fit low enough in order for the o-Rings to be seated flush. Need a different water temp fitting and water neck gasket.

We are gonna install a 1 inch intake spacer to see if we can get the hood to fit.

Gonna jet the carb down.

Need to get an Aluminum alternator fan as the steel one is bent in from the high RPMS.

Does that create a air pocket being that hose is so high where thermostat is?

I am just test fitting in these photos, the hose will be trimmed at least two inches, making sure the Radiator feed is higher.

Ok Cool! Car looks great! Will it be hitting the track? Dynoed?

Check your altenator speed. Either use pulley diameters or a tach instrument.

When I made my own serpentine system I quickly noticed my altenator was going to be turning nearly 3 times crank speed with a "factory" sized crank pulley.
That's alot of rpm at 7000 or higher crank speed.

I changed my alternator pulley to slow it down from about 18,000 rpm to 12,000 rpm, much better on the belt.

X2. I disintegrated a plastic 12si fan at 3x crank speed at only 6000rpms. Make a pulley change if necessary, in the name of safety. Yours and your hoods...

Hi Bruce, Yes, We have a 4" Alternator Pulley Coming. I also have a K&N Air Cleaner X-Treme Lid/Top Plate, we want to improve the air flow into the engine and I recall a flow test where the Air Cleaner Lid which greatly improves air flow in.

Here is the Formula we used to calculate Alternator Pulley Speed.

FYI - Check your Alternator Fan too see if blades are bending outward. Tell tale sign you have a potential Alternator Failure coming.

An alternator needs 1800-2000 RPM at idle to make power and will make maximum output at 6000 rpm but will fail at 16,000 RPM

Measure Crankshaft Pulley Size (for example 7.75")

Measure Alternator pulley size (for example 2.5")

The Ratio is 2:1 (7.75 divided by 2.5 = 3.88)

To find MAX RPM: take your Max engine Speed (for example 6500 RPM) and multiply it by the calculated ratio (6500 x 3.88) = 25,222 shaft RPM

To find IDLE RPM: Multiply Idle RPM x Ratio (for example 1000 x 3.88) = 3888 shaft RPM @ Idle

Ed Page and I installed the larger alternator Pulley and Billet Fan, bolted the intake manifold on with a half inch spacer, bolted the hood on - need to install the hood latch and hood pins. Installed a K&N Air Cleaner Lid.

We will flush the radiator then add antifreeze back in.

Butler Valve Covers being modified to fit by my Dad.

Should be test driving next week.

We had to cut off 2 inches of the water neck to get teh coolant to flow freely. - Well, Ed did this.

Street Tires are back on and now for some idle then driving carb tuning.

Hood Pins installed, New NGK Spark Plugs installed, Card Re-Jetted, Coolant topped off.

Spark Plugs look new after 1 hour drive.
