Default 71 GP 400 4spd

Hi all,

Just purchased a 1971 Grand Prix 400 4 spd car from a friend in CA. Car is on a truck right now heading East. Will be dropped in Indiana soon and I'll drive there to bring it back to Virginia. Don't really need another car project ....but...it's on it way. I had the console shifter plate removed and shipped to me prior to the long drive across the country. Those are impossible to replace and I didn't want it to disappear before I got the car. I'll post pictures later ...car is oddly optioned and is one of the 52 manual trans cars made that year before they dropped the option and made automatics standard equipment. 2nd Picture is a rare sight ...2 4 spd shifter plates side by side. :-)

Cheers, Bruce
