Brian ,Gays GTO was featured in Super Stock around july 1966.I don't have the Gray GHost other than a back end pic of their 63 Cat.Also there were a couple of different articles in different years for Arnies different GTO's usually Super Stock. There was another GTO article in SS around 65/66 for a 65 GTO I can't for the life of me think of his name he was from Detroit area, geez about 10 min. I'll remember. Thanks for the pic's guys. Tom S I see the difference in the rear wheel well.

Default Arnie

Gotta love the trailer !!! Reminds me of a few years back when the Ames caravan past me going to Norwalk. After I had gotten there I noticed that my trailer had broken and a part of it was swinging in the wind ! Steve Ames was nice enough to lend me a hack saw to cut the piece off so I did leave a piece of my trailer on the road on the way back ! Steve said, "When we pasted you in Penn., I was sure that your trailer was going to make it here"

GIVE ME MORE!! I like the front in the air stance of the 60s.Drag cars today just dont have personality like back then. I have some pix of myself sitting on a open hauler with
Don Gays 66 Infinity GTO and Roy Gays Firebird 400.Ill post them when I find them.

It's not a drag car, but I don't believe anybody would have enough guts to try this today...

This is the only picture I have of my GTO racing. It was taken in about 1977. I started racing it in late '64.

OMT -

Now I don't feel so bad; I have never found any pictures of one of our cars going down the track...
