I can't even begin to say how pleased I am with the progress and results of this restoration. The guys over at Barr's Restoration are really top-notch. Not only do thy do impeccable work, but are always available to answer any questions I have and even help me find some of the missing parts (Steve personally donated a set of OEM hood hinges that he had on his shelf when it looked like mine were not rebuild able). Also want to thank everyone on these forums for helping locate them. They may be 500 miles away from me, but well worth the trip! I am hoping to actually have the car back in NJ by summer!

Hi Chris
Good to be back talking about cars. I'm sort of 'homeless' right now (living in a little apt.) but am actively looking for a house, or at least some land to build a house/garage. Hopefully by summer. I spent Saturday at my buddy's shop replacing the water pump in my Judge and I can't tell you how good it felt to get my hands dirty again.

I have tix to the Hartford show. Working on Newark and MSG. Let's definitely plan on meeting at the Hartford show. I may have an extra ticket to that show and was going to ask if you wanted to come (if you didn't get tix).

Frank

Thanks Charles! I may take a ride down to visit her over the holidays and can get some really good close up shots!

Frank

Here are some shots Steve just sent today. They pulled the rear out of the car to freshen her up, as well as paint all the control arms. The firewall is also done aa is the trunk.

Haven’t posted over here for a while, but the ‘67 is in the home stretch. Just some last minute details for Steve to take care of before she comes home.

Technically 7 years, but whose counting? Lol! It should come back to NJ at the end of this month. Just in time to be put away until spring.

We’re now down to just pinstripes and emblems!! I’m in the process of borrowing a friend’s enclosed trailer and running down the N.C. to pick her up first weekend next month (Nov 6-7).

All the congratulations go to Steve at Barr’s Restorations. He’s a PY member (400 4spd). Super knowledgeable on these cars and very detail focused. He has a ‘67 GTO that cane out of the Baltimore plant with a VIN that is just 10 cars before mine
