Steve is trying to replicate the factory pinstripes on my car, using some photos he has taken of survivor cars. I wanted to get some feedback from the forum on these:

He provided me with these photos of a ‘survivor’ pinstripe that he was using as a guide.

It's hard to beat the look of ol' Regi Red on a 67 GTO
Great car you have and I'm sure it will knock your socks off when you see it in person.
2 thumbs up for Steve Barr taking the job in and doing it so well and detailed.

Did you get to come down to NC this weekend and pick it up ?
We had Great Weather this weekend.

Somewhere in my building is a 67 Red/Black interior H-O 4spd from Pontiac Mich that sold new in Winston Salem NC.

Around 1980 one of my best friends got a Red/Black 67 GTO 4spd (different car-not mine) as his first car before he even had a learners permit to drive. We raised a lotta hell in that car.
Car created so much clout for him that in 10th grade he was dating one of the very best looking 12th grade girls in school.

Thanks BVZ!
I’m hoping to run down to Steve’s place on Friday. I just confirmed with my friend that I can use his enclosed trailer. I’m super excited to bring her back home and will definitely be posting tons of photos! We’ve had a run of mild weather here in NJ (it was 77 degrees yesterday - though I had 3 in. of snow two Fridays back), so I’m hoping the trip is uneventful.

Thanks for the compliments, guys. Frank has been a super great guy to do this for, and I hope he gets many years of enjoyment out of it. Here are a few pictures I got today before the rain arrived. If anyone wants to convert them to page size, please do.

Thanks Steve! Can’t wait to come get her. I bought this car as a birthday present to myself way back in 1998. Found her in Hemmings (hard copy) She was a 100% # matching car with 58,000 miles on her and had had a repaint back in the 80’s. I almost didn’t buy it because I wanted a black interior. Lol.

Absolutely perfect!

BTW, where do those beautiful wheels come from? Are they Original?

If not, what size and where did you get them?

They are the correct JC wheels. Steve did a fantastic job of blasting them, taping them and painting them.
