Way only 91 octane? There is 93 octane around me and 94 octane in other parts. Then there is E85

I think pump gas should be 91 or 93 octane. E 85 lets you run big race gas CR, not a fair comparison.

The list did not include Gachs old E head run of 9.60, 505 IA2. His GTO was a back half car with a bunch of fiberglass on it.
Told me the heads I have got it down to 9.30 with old converter. His goal was 8.90s but sold his stuff, health. New converter was 1500+$ and gears would be expensive.
But the 9.60 should be on the list.
slowbird should be on the list too for his pump gas days.

Cause that's what i'm running lol, And I agree on the E85 Stuff, it allows alot more comp which imo isn't fair to the true word of pump gas.

Kind of interested of the "iron" head pump gas fastest list. I have been 10.93 with a old TRW 455 and HOs. I bet a more max effort with 310cfm RAIVs could get 10.50 or better. Even 10.00 with a aftermarket block, huge torque build.

Accord to Gach (yrs ago) he ran 9.4 with his old heads when it dynoed 750-780hp. Maybe you and him should get the story straight. That's why i find it funny he now says he's made 880hp but the et/mph didnt change from what he claimed years ago.

Gach was banned long before the cv1 stuff came along. Gach does it to himself.

I didn't make the list, I just copied and pasted it into this thread is all, But THANKS!
I should've actually made the thread D port only since that's what I'm running. I already know there's plenty faster then me with other heads and CI etc.

We ran 5.70's in the 1/8 on 91 octane. 2700 lbs. Full frame car. 535. Dipped in the 60's rarely. Stopped at the local quick trip, filled the generator, pit bike and car from the same pump.

You are torwards the top of the d-port list, if you limit it to stock block you probably are at the top. No doubt you are running VERY good!

Brian, Gach WAS back on the PY race section posting. I remember when he came back. If you want to line yourself up with the circle, knock yourself out.

And STANLEY, it WAS your circle who got him banned this last time. It was all about CV-1s. The people that make them threatened lawsuits on Gach and PY if he did not get banned. There is proof of that.
No basis, told the truth, so no basis.
But no one wants to deal with that BS if they done have to. Can not blame Bart and Co.
And Brian, you have been back on PZ checking out Gachs response to your calling him out here where he can not speak for himself. People have a word for that.

Dragncar,
I guess then we can call your buddy that exact something for calling people out over there where they can not speak for themselves. You know these things do go both ways.

Gach got banned from here because of what he said/did period. He can point fingers and blame others all he wants but he's responsible for what happened.
Im banded from PZ so Gach can say what he wants without me be able to respond.

Sorry Brian, did not know he put you on time out. It does go both ways. Do you want un banned over there, might be able to help with that. I liked hearing what you had to say.

And there is a screen shot of the PM, it was the CV crew.
The things that have been said about the heads is not just some big lie.
My whole problem with the heads is going away from a traditional Pontiac inline head and not being able to beat them. No reason to, but if folks want to do that, fine with me. Free country.
