Default almost 24 years in the making. My engine is finally done

I joined the board back in 4/2003 and my first post was asking what heads to use on my engine build. Well life and other toys got in the way and the engine was put on the back burner. In may I finally brought the block to shop and told them to put it together and yesterday I got the call that it was finally done. It's a 1971 400 that I bought off ebay as a non runner and no idea what it was originally in.
So now it'll be going in my 67 Firebird. We stepped it up to a 461 running Edelbrock heads and Victor intake, comp cam, SCAT rotating assembly, roller rockers and lifters on pump gas putting out 561 hp and 611 lbs of torque. https://youtu.be/BVjqcRvOyI4

The Victor intake will not fit under your stock hood unless you don't run an air cleaner. You will need to get a cowl hood or some type of scoop.

Took longer because you paused the build, life happens. Nice engine indeed and you should be proud. Sounds killer too.

What pistons?

That's a stout setup! Congrats on getting it done, and be sure to do a celebration burnout for us!

You are about as fast as I am getting these things done. Congratulations on finishing it and it looks like a neat engine.

That's fantastic. It looks and sounds great. What cam are you running? Any porting to the heads?

That is a concern for sure. I've gotten mixed opinions if it'll fit or not. Hopefully it will with a drop base cleaner.

It's a SCAT rotating assembly 41661BI with ICON forged pistons.
