Default TCI subframe in first gen F body

I need some help here. I have installed a TCI front subframe assembly into a 69 Firebird. I have the 04 GTO motor and L460e tranny in the car. Either the transmission is hitting the floor, or the rear mount on this TCi kit is too high. If I lower the tailshaft about 3/4" everything looks OK. I am having difficulty determining what is the problem. I could mod the tranny mount pretty easily, but then I am not sure if the orientation of tailshaft to the pinion would be correct....

Any help would be appreciated....

I called TCI and did not get much help, although they did try. I can't be the only one dealing with this...

Thanks.

Can't answer your question, but is this a 17,000 mile original 400/TH400 A/C car from Southern California by chance?
