65-66 GP Rear Springs
Hello, anyone using a 65-66 Safari rear coil spring in a 65-66 GP?
Trying to raise the rear slightly above stock height. I know Eaton offers a custom spring with 1" higher than stock and may go that route but thought I would ask about the Safari wagon spring first. Thanks

That's what you'll get if you order from Ames, Springs N Things, or Eaton. Unless you specify that you want it lowered, which Eaton can do, not sure about the others. Coil Spring Specialties is another place that can make the "standard height/load" springs.
When you raise the rear on a 4-link suspension you'll need longer shocks (or air shocks). It will change the control arm angles, which isn't really a big deal. Also will change the pinion angle, so you could get a drive shaft vibration...but maybe not. I went through this last year and learned all about the parts and how they affect the setup.

Thank You for the response and information
Imposter, were the Eaton Springs listed as stock height or modified? Appreciate the offer. They would be for my brothers 66 GP
