Default 26 spline input shaft For Clutch tool

I seem to have misplaced or loaned out my 26 spline input shaft I use on
Pressure Plate/Clutch Installations.

Anyone have a 26 spline Input Shaft from a trans that I can buy for use as a clutch tool.

Thanks Tom V.

Working on a deal to Borrow a Fine Spline Muncie Input Shaft but I am still interested in acquiring one for myself to use permanently.

Tom, are you against using one of the thick plastic 26 spline clutch disc line tools? Bought one years ago & it has worked well.

"Years ago", parts might work if I can not find a proper input shaft to locate the disc properly for the installation. The chinese new stuff out there obviously is worthless.

I have a "possible" for the 26 spline input shaft to borrow locally.
I will see if that works out first.

NEVER LOAN OUT YOUR TOOLS is typically a safe bet but I still do it occasionally.

The plastic tool is fine , remove it slide trans in & have someone depress the clutch pedal & you are done.

I’ve had good luck with the Ram tool; only about $50.

Info from here: http://www.superchevy.com/how-to/tra...-transmissions

Input Shaft Identification
Years Type Grooves Input Shaft Splines Output Tooth Count Output Shaft Splines
1963-’65 M20 None 10 24 27
1966-’70 M20 Two 10 21 27
1970-’74 M20 Two 26 21 32
1963-’70 M21 One 10 26 27
1970-’74 M21 One 26 26 32
1967-’70 M22 None 10 26 27
1969-’74 M22 None 26 26 32

So I am looking for a 26 spline input shaft for a 1970-1974 M20 Trans or a 1970-1974 M21 Trans, or a 1969-1974 M22 trans.

The key is the 26 spline version vs the typical 10 spline GTO type Muncie Trans.

'72 models were last factory installed M22's.
Input shaft from '2nd design BW T-10 (74 1/2 on) would also work.
