Default Another "Help me id" thread

I'm pretty sure both of these fit Pontiac(possibly Buick and Olds also?). Can you guys tell me what they are for specifically?

I am guessing the first one would fit basically all mid '60s to '70s 4 speed Pontiacs? I'm not sure what to think of the other one. While I had always assumed it was just a cut off version of the first one, it appears to be made that way.

Thanks

Unless that's a pic-trick....Both of them really look like passenger side starter mount to me.

I guess there is a bit of optical illusion there. Hadn't noticed until you mentioned it.

Just for clarification, these are both driver's side starter. The pictures were taken looking at them from the front/engine side.
