Default Fuel pump

I put a new fuel pump on my G.P., I unhooked the line to the carb, not a drop of gas is getting there, maybe a bad pump, ? There is gas in the tank.

put a hose on the end of the line you unhooked have the other end into a bottle make sure nothing will "fall" then crank the engine a couple times. Certainly can't rule out bad parts out of the box nowadays..
