Default Old compressor tank project ideas?

So I've got a nice 60 air tank from my compressor that just died. Anyone have any good suggestions for a use for it before I take it to the scrap yard? Looks great on the outside ... never got any rust out of the drain valve so the inside is probably good.

I've thought of the obvious things, fire pit, grill, lawn roller, planters, bird bath.

If you have room for it, plumb it in series with your new compressor to increase your capacity.

What Steve V said. I have a 120 gallon tank and over 500 linear feet of aluminum plumbing in my system. I've learned it really makes a difference to have the extra storage capacity.

Unfortunately the old tank is only rated for 150 psi, the new compressor is 175.

Not to mention I barely have room for the new compressor as it is.

The compressor it came with was a piece of garbage Sears ... the tank though is a nice USA made unit, still in great condition.

Advertise on Craigslist, people always willing to pay too much for used compressors and parts.

Jeez, nice grill .... if I could get my wife to grill something.

Also ... would make a unique storage cabinet. I could put all my air tools and air accessories in it.

It the tank is still in good condition it's certainly worth reselling. There are a lot of people who are looking for them to replace tanks that have rusted and developed leaks.

I'll shove an inspection camera down in there and see what the inside looks like ... then maybe try to sell it. Would hate to sell anyone something that blows out in a couple of years.
