My 67 Lemans. Found it on craigslsits back in the spring and couldn't pass it up.The motor had been changed so the scoop was cut in for clearance and they changed the front fender badges. Have a gto hood and the "326" emblems to go on when the body/paint get done. Just went thru the drivetrain and installed some goodies, so not far from the exterior work, and the interior is already done....glad it's a Lemans and wasn't cloned; I like the shark fins...nothing but fun!!

Default '67 Lemans

Signet Gold w/ Cream Cordova top. 326 w/ air, which doesn't work yet. Driver condition. I've had it just over a year now. I switched the 2 speed auto out for a Muncie M-20 last winter. Still working on the console, might get parts from our host as soon as today to complete that. Plan for this winter is heater core and a/c, maybe sound system. And lots of little things, including more scraping and cleaning of undercarriage. What a mess under there. I got all forty years of sludge buildup included for free with the car. I think some of it is structural.
Pic is from cel phone, but it was such a nice day.

This is my first pontiac, and just beginning the process of restoring it. This is my first go-around at a restoration, and can tell this is going to be a learning experience. I have read a number of different threads, and there is alot of great information posted by it's members. Here's a couple of pictures of my car before I started and the beginning of my new project.

up there
all stock, all there, all original. except. ford BC/CC paint. dont ask the color as there are two other aholes in my small small town that painted their cars the same exact color after they saw mine somewhere. and another almost the same, also a ford color, also with my same wheels, which btw i bought in 1999 when they first came out.

wheels (in the garage) with the hubcaps
upholstery (same as stock)
trans (laying on the sidewalk) now has TH350
cam (threw out) now has summit 2800 in 47K mile origninal 326
intake (in garage) now has E4P and Q jet
radiator (in back yard)
air filter (in garage) now a KnN

plans: who knows, probably not do anything else to it. got it in 1998 with 28K miles. owned by one-legged man. given to my dad by his wife when he died. given to me shortly thereafter. body work was $1000 at accent auto body in sparks, nv. paint by a butthole (awesome paint job on this car tho, but we had a falling out so i won't mention him, but cost $2500 in 99)

i do plan on replacing the rear bumper due to some rust. wish i could feel good about replacing the drum brakes, but i don't really drive it much anymore.

Default " Yo, Chipster !! "

That's a great looking car !! Are those 245-60-15's on the back ? That setup looks just right. I've got some 15'' rally 2's to clean up this winter, and I'm trying to decide what size tires to put on. I'm trying to decide between 235-60-15's on all 4, or putting 245's on the back.

255-60-15 with 8 inch Cragar S/S on the rear, 235-60-15 with 7 inch Cragars on the front.

PLEASE tell me you do not want to put those GIANT rims and Rubber Bands for tires on your car. Your car looks killer the way it is now. PLEASE DON'T DO IT !!!!

Im not a big fan of the oversized wheels eiither, but those rims I like. As far as the rest of the car goes, the car just looks clean with the absence of all the chrome.
