Default Date code question
This date is on a intake manifold on eBay and I was curious about the date code .

K-06-6

What would that be ? Didn’t the skip the letter i if I remember correctly?

No, not on cast dates.


Oct 6 1966 probably for 1967 model year.

oh I always thought the skipped the letter i

Isn’t K the 11th letter in the alphabet so wouldnt that mean November?

The letter I was only skipped by Pontiac Central Foundary on block/head/intake/water pump castings for Sept of '66, other years I was used for Sepyember. The K066 dated intake you referred to is indeed Oct dated. One of the '67 Qjet intakes i have in the racks is dated M086.
