Default 64 Motor swap

Can anyone tell me why when I took the 6 banger out and put in a 389 with factory 64 manifolds why the front of drivers side manifold is almost on the rag joint? Manual steering. I used the correct frame and motor mount's

Frame brackets are side specific. The taller one should have been installed on the driver's side.

I took the frame mount's from a 64 Goat and bolted them on just as I took them off

The frame mounts are side specific. They were produced with different bolt patterns so there would be no chance of mounting them on the wrong side, so that rules that out as being a possible cause.

Here’s what your clearance between the exhaust manifold and the rag joint should look like.

B-Man.. I see now what my problem is from your pics. I tried to put pics on here to show my problem and it would not let me for some reason. It's my manifold pipe, it looks nothing like the one in your pic. My pass side is correct, the casting number on my drivers side pipe is 9773442. With that being said does anyone have a correct drivers side pipe for my car? Thanks, Hank

My references show that part number as the correct exhaust manifold for a '64 GTO.
