Arrow So...

if one were to be a bit late to the party...could one still find any accommodations in the area? May be bringing a car for a friend who wants to get his fresh restoration judged just to accrue some provenance. Last minute thing...

Last reminder for GTOAA group hotel rates. There are still rooms available at the Red Lion hotel - right next door to the Host Hotel, Bellevue Hilton. Rate is a screaming $129/night. Our cut off date is Thursday, so if you want a room, get your reservation in quickly. Easiest way is to go to our web site and go the the Hotel tab. northwestlegends.com

FYI:
News Flash: The cutoff date for the $25 late entry fee and the closing of the popular vote car classes is two days from now. If you haven't registered yet you have until Wednesday night, June 22, to get your registration in. You can do that right now on-line here. If you plan to mail it you may want to contact Beth Butcher at membership@gtoaa.org to be sure it will get to her in time.

You are the third person tonight that has brought that to my attention. We are working on it and will get it fixed. We have extended the cut off a couple of days so we can get your cars registered into the appropriate classes and we have backed off on the late registration fee. We want to encourage (not discourage) as many cars as possible to register. Bear with us, we will get it fixed. Look forward to seeing all of you in a few weeks!

I'm sorry you're having an issue. The registration page is run by the GTOAA. At the bottom of the first registration page there is contact info for Beth Butcher and website support for Aaron Gibbs. It sounds like the registration website may be temporarily not taking credit cards. If you would like to register over the phone you can contact Beth. If it's a credit card problem maybe Aaron could help. We will contact him to make sure the process is working. Thanks for the heads up. If no one tells us it's not working, we don't really know.

This is a Canadian address and there is no place to put Canada in so hopefully they understand that when processing my info. Looks to be all based for US addresses. Tried a second time tonight no luck. Will try again tomorrow. Thanks for the info.

Only Reason I'm this late is due to major engine issue that now is fixed, but did not want to register if we were not gonna make it.

Thanks 64

The system has been reset and it should now accept your credit card. Sorry for the confusion. Look forward to seeing you in July!

Due to issues with the Registration web site, we have extended the registration "cut off date" to 4:00 pm, Monday June 26 (tomorrow). If you register after that date, your car will be put in the "2 Late to Class" class. This is because we need time to order the awards and signs for Popular Vote. At this point, we are exceeding registration numbers for the past 5 or 6 GTOAA National Conventions. This will be one of the most well attended GTOAA Nationals in years. Don't miss it.

You still have one last chance to get your car registered to the 2016 GTOAA Convention and have your car entered into the proper Class for judging. Due to some last minute glitches with the registration system, we have elected to extend the "cut off" date to close of business tomorrow (June 29). You can still register after tomorrow, but your car will be placed in the 2 Late 2 Class Class. Hurry. This will be the largest attended GTOAA Convention in years!

I was just curious if there was anymore info on the drag racing in Kent on the 15th? We're planning a trip and time might be tight so if possible it would be nice to know of times and location. Thanks.

Drag racing will be offered at Pacific Raceways in Kent, WA. On Friday, July 15th. The event is called "Racing at Pacific Raceways" where you will have the option of running in a "Test-N-Tune" or a "Car Club Challenge" or both. The track gate will open at 4:00pm and racing will start at 5:00pm and run until 10:00pm. After you have paid (if you run in one of the options, the fee is $50 and if you choose to run in both, the fee will be $90) and entered, you will run through the tech check-in. An area in the Pit has been set aside for GTOAA Convention Pontiacs and will be designated by a large sign or banner. This is not a GTOAA Convention event so you will be following the rules and procedures of Pacific Raceways just like any other participant.
