Default Advice on Ram Air Cable

Hi all,

Hoping to get some advice on what I should do about my ram air cable. I have the original. Its a little worn from 50 years of service. Also, I believe several years ago I partially disassembled it by removing a clip which I cannot locate. I could replace it with the repop cable, shown in the pics from our host (comes from parts place). This cable is nice and new, but you can see the way it attaches to the bracket is not as original.

Ideally I could replace the stock cable and attach to bracket as was done originally but not sure how I would make that happen.

Thoughts?

Thanks for your words of wisdom!

Find a clip and use the original. I always do when possible.
