Default Coil Spring Choices

Looking to replace the front springs on my 68 Firebird and wanted to see what brand others might recommend to immediately improve the stance. My shop guy uses Moog, but I have also been looking at Eaton (and possibly Hotchkiss). I'm not satisfied with my current ride height, which is about 1.5 + " above original spec, according to the 68 Service manual. I don't know what springs are on there now - probably no-name and/ or wrong part #.

Don't want to cut out a coil and cant afford to switch more than once.
Any recommendations appreciated.

We got our front springs from Coil Spring Specialties. Stock height and they are perfect. The previous ones that we got from Rock Auto, supposedly for our '66 Tempest Sprint, sent the front end way up. It looked terrible and of course didn't feel right. Best money I ever spent from CSS. They can do exactly as you wish, like stock height or dropped 1 or 2 inches. Good luck.

I did the exact same thing, and ordered stock height springs for my '65. Great service, and ride height right on the money.
