The Ebay 2+2 original color was Mayfair Maize, a special order color in 1967 I believe. Car was sold by Jensen Dealerships in Sioux City, Iowa in mid 2017.

Thank you for that information on the 2+2 , Mark.
MayfairMaze was a standard color in 1968 , so it being a special or spring color in 1967 makes good math.
Pontiac followed that protocol many times.

Its a terrible color though. lol

Makes sense it was changed, but Black wouldn't be my first choice on that car.
Sometimes Black is my #1, sometimes not.
Would have used the special paint license and made it "more special" than Black.
