Door top reveal chrome 2nd gen Firebird.. Question
Ok, so have have a couple doors with NO "Studs" for the reveal molding. I know Exactly where they go, and have installed plenty with my Snap On 'Stud gun". Problem is they always leave a small "dent" where its welded on, due to heat, which then needs a bit of filler at the bottom side at least... Has anyone tried those "screw studs" that are sold for the windshield studs, on the Doors? I dislike any extra 'holes" in the body, but just weighing the options. Thoughts?

Why not leave it off? Remove the drip and the vertical trim for a cleaner look... I actually did the reverse and had my welded studs removed and then removed the other trim. I have a couple of original sets of everything should you need anything... lmk.

I have some of those screws if you need them. use to have a snap on head for my riviot gun that turns a riviot into a stud.
