Default Fitting 1970 Coupe inner fender to a 70' Convertible

Has anyone on this forum solved the problem of fitting the coupe/hard top inner and outer wheel wells to the convertible body?
The fender wells on the verts are flat topped to make room for the top to fold in.
I have the outer well almost in place on the pass. side but I am hoping someone would have some tips on flattening the curve on the only pieces I can get to repair the rust out in the wells. I see the hammer an dolly at work here and possibly a pie cut or two.
Any vets in this process?

OPG is selling a repo 70 Chevelle convertible inner wheelhouse.
They look close to being the same as the GTO.

I just replaced the rusted out outer wheelhouse portion on my 68 GTO convertible using the coupe wheelhouse. I had to cut, section and weld to get it to fit around the fender lip. A pain but I got it to fit.
