Default 1967 firebird 400 hard top 3 owner car

With some hesitation, I am considering selling this car. When I bought it i realized how lucky i was to find such an original car so close to home, and it may be a once in a lifetime car for me.
car has just about 98800 miles on it original, i last drove it on friday 11-29. I have documentation and mileage written on almost every registration renewal since the early 1970s. The gentleman I got it from was the second owner. I have the original bill of sale from the dealership in massachustetts. Originally a coronado gold car, the man bought it for his fiancee after getting home from Viet Nam. They did not like the gold and had it repainted parchment red within a year or two of acquiring it. The year can be determined from the color change on the registration cards. It was used as a daily driver for many years. When i bought it i also got the snow tires they used for winter. Sometime in the late 80s it was restored using nos panels and repainted red. The trunk pan is original, and does require some attention at the drivers side shock mount, but car drives great, with no noises or clunks and is very tight. When i got it, it was shod with 1978 bias ply tires and the original hub caps. I have since upgraded to some 14'' radials and later dog dishes. in th epictures below, it had the bias tires and dog dishes. it rides very well for a 50 year old car. Exhaust is a gardner, most likely 1980s era. The muffler had rotted out and droned, i replaced that about a year ago. manifolds and resonators inplace, exhaust solid. new mono leafs come with car too.
this spring i did timing chain, and fuel and water pump on her. I saved the water pump and timeng set, as they are original parts. Carb is original, motor is original, i do not have any reason to believe anyone has ever been inside it. matching date codes and build sheets. car has hood tach, however it stopped working recently. black original deluxe interior with console and automatic. rear portion of carpet original, front replaced during restoration with whatever repro was avaialbe. it does not match well, but it is black. power steering, power drum brakes, rear antenna, posi 3.08 still burns both. original jack, still in trunk.
whats does it need: front fender was damaged when the previous owner would back it out of his garage and let it run. He had a stroke a few years before i got it. he stopped driving, but this was still his baby and he let it run every so often. he clipped the garage opening and damaged a very solid fender. I have a pair of nos fenders and an extra 67 fender that go with car. hood is original, but does have small dent. heater core is by passed. I have 2 replacements. Just have not pulled the fender off to complete both jobs. passenger side door glass is scratched from a weather stripping rivot. I have replacement door glass and vent window assy. Headliner is in great shape, but drooping over the driver. I believe it is repairable with some stitching or replace. vinyl roof is original and has normal wear and minor cracking. rear mounted antenna mast is removeable. I also have replacement rear bumper fender gills, 14'' rallye 2 wheels that will go this car. I have done my best to tell everything i am aware of. most people would walk by and not notice most of it.
As stated i do appreciate this car. It is just 3-4 down on my priority list and my garage is full. I will sell outright for $17000 with all listed parts and anything else i missed, or consider an interesting trade, 4spd 74-6 trans am, gt 37 or other lesser appreciated pontiacs, but as i mentioned I am looking for some extra garage space as it is. Car is not on Ebay, doubt i will go that route or craigslist. It is not super rare being on of 9000 plus, but not many are less than 30 grand either.
PHS and vin available to serious inquiries

thanks Jeff for a fair deal on a solid car.

Bill's Auto works did the haul and he was great to work with.

once again i have enjoyed working out a deal with a fellow forum member, best way to buy a pontiac. craigslist and ebay, etc can be ok, but i have had best experiences through this forum.

Thanks PY and thank you Jeff.
