Default 63 GP on E-Bay

Anybody notice the frame on this 63 GP? It looks like its reinforced, looks like a real nice car for the money..

I think the GP's had a full boxed frame? I seem to remember GP, convertibles and station wagons had them . That looked like a nice car. Had a few non-stock items and questionable repairs. But overall, looked good in the pics. Probably the worst items I saw were the lousy door panels, the flat bar Hurst shifter, and the terrible vinyl pattern match on the drivers seat panel replacement. Why wouldn't you simply get the correct material? That's a head scratcher. Price seems pretty good, especially as nice as the underside was.

If you're talking about the side rails I'm pretty sure what you are seeing is the lift the car is on.

That's what it looks like to me.

I think the vinyl on the seat is original, but it's just worn and cracked.

It's also listed as a 421HO car, but there's a 400 under the hood.

The frame does not look original. May have had rails put in it at some point.
I HATE it when they bolt the seat over the carpet.

Ad states 400 engine installed in car. Looks pretty good to me, the interior appears original, except for the shifter. I would be in a hurry to replace the missing battery cap before I romped on it, though!
