65 ignition switch question
We believe this switch went bad last week. It is a 65 Tempest with AC. The Ames site has 2 switches for Non AC. What is the correct replacement, it has 6 blades. While I am at it, what will work for 64 and 66 Gto non AC. I will have to replace the 66 and can't find the 64 at the moment. Sigh..

I don't understand. The plug on the harness can take 6 blades. The car has the wrong harness?

I’m not sure what your question is, either.
See this thread I started for pics of mine. http://forums.maxperformanceinc.com/...d.php?t=796284 I ended up replacing everything - a new M&H harness, and a new ignition switch. From what I remember, the 66 won’t work. Pretty sure I ordered it from Ames, and that it was pretty easy to figure out.

Was the car originally a straight 6 or a v8 car? For some reason I remember the harness being a bit different for the L6 vs 326V8 cars... on my 64 Tempest post car.
