Thanks Big Mike and Alvin. Yes Mike, money on a ride is not wasted. Fortunately too my wife loves it and talks me into not going cheap when I try. She's saved me many times from making foolish decisions.

As we all know it never ends. I have to replace the fuel tank sending unit and would like some opinions, if you've done it yourself better yet. I ordered one from Summit (OPGI) and they just wrote and said it is no longer available so doing a search I see ones from Spectra, Garage-Pro and a couple others.

Would any of you recommend one over the other?

Thanks

I've used Spectra in my truck, and possibly my Monte Carlo. So far, so good on both. Don't remember for sure if my Monte Carlo is Spectra or not, but the S-10 is. Works fine for 3 years now. Monte has been about 4 years, but the gas gauge quit working after I put some leftover racing fuel in it from Jeff's boat. Not sure why it hurt the resistor in the gauge unit, nut it always worked great until I put that fuel in it. Ever since, it stays at full most of the time, and sometimes comes down to 3/4 but never less. ??? Fuel pumps on both work fine. I know you don't have the fuel pump part, just saying.

Thanks Paul. The price was so low I was a little concerned about the quality.
