You need a large tank at least 60 gallon, I would prefer 80 and a pump with VOLUME. Blasting takes a lot of air. If painting you will need a filter to filter out moisture and oil residue from your compressor and only use a dedicated air line thats used for paint only. Unless your filter is at the compressor outlet and you have new air lines form the get go. WE used 2 compressors with 40 gallon tanks stacked on each other. with a commercial drier. With 2 compressors we had a lot of volume for blasting but could barely keep up. Without volume to fill it as fast as it leaves you will not be able to do what you want to do without waiting for the compressor to keep up. Painting will be OK as you will be regulated below 50 psi. IMO ; )
