Front of car, original A/C compressor sticker and front of engine compartment.

The "D" on the fan shroud may be an assembly line mark as the prior owner believed.

Original door sill plates and a couple of date codes--D308 is the intake date code of April 30, 1968 and D268 is April 26, 1968 on the driver's side head (hard to get a picture of the passenger side head with the A/C there). The car was built the 4th week of May 1968.

Items that go with the car: cover, misc parts and 1968 Firebird auto carb--part number 7028264 XE. The date code on the base plate is too early for a May 1968 car, but I was happy to find one. The base plate could be switched if wanted. The carb was used on a Buick so it has a different inlet on it which will need to be removed when the carb is restored.
