Shot of crank pulley. Another view of water pump pulley.
Also notice that in the second pic you can see obvious traces of black paint still on the power steering pump cap. I see lots of restored cars that have the cap black and some left bare metal. This is another one of those areas where there is no definite answer. I know this wasn't asked about by OP but just thought id mention it since it is visible in the pic. |

On a 66 389 with tri power, do the first two intake manifold bolts on each side ( driver and passenger), have studs on them?

I have found all 1966 engines, except T/6, uses bolt 522871 AR, 3/8"-16 x 1 1/2".
Also used w/washer 502306 AR, 13/32" I.D. x 3/4" O.D. No bolts w/studs. |

Thanks Kenth.
I am running a 69 428 in my 66 gto currently. I am rebuilding a 66 389 for the car. The was complete when I got it, but t it was in pieces. Now after a few years time, I realize that I did not get intake bolts or oil pan bolts. So the hunt continues!!! Thanks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
