Default Delcotron 12V Alternator Decal

I have seen some GM A body cars with an Orange/Black lettered Delcotron 12V decal on their alternators at car shows this past summer.
Does anyone have any evidence or recall that these decals were on Pontiac alternators (specifically 67 thru 70) or are they just another decal introduced as original to sell.
I have messed with a lot of GM alternators, and do not recall it. Doesn't mean it wasn't there and fell off, so seeking evidence to the contrary.

Thank you, Jason.

From the lack of response, I figured I better find a picture. Went to the googlebox and did a search for the decal and up popped this, exactly what I'm talking about.

Interesting when you do a search on this entire site, this is the only thread/mention on this decal. Guess that says a lot.

Can't say I've ever seen them on a 66-67 Pontiac Tempest/GTO.
Seen on Chebbys many times.

Thank you for the input Jeff, just to clarify, you've seen this on original 67-70 Chevy alternators?

Mostly at events on restored cars, something that caught my eye in the past.

Same here, thats why I posted, but I hadn't noticed until this past summer.

Seems to me it could be a parts counter deal at some point in time, doubtful it came originally on an alternator. Declo alts. from 64 thru 74 were all made in the same place, right? All GM alts would then have the sticker and there would be evidence of an original one on a car somewhere.

I guess its like the Buick air cleaner decal, stick it if you like it, prove its original.
