Sprint Vacuum Advance Port
Which vacuum port on the Quadrajet is for the vacuum advance? Is it the one that’s in the throttle plate facing the front of the engine, or the one that’s above the rear air mixture screw? Thanks as always!

FWIW; The factory layout runs a tube from Dist up and over the front of Cam House then alongside to Carb and around to the port. Rubber connections are from Vac adv to tube and from tube to Carb Port. Cheers.

Interesting, my vacuum line goes to the back of the block and follows the fuel line. Looks stock.

I don't remember a metal line around the front of the cam cover either...I had a '67.

You guys are correct,
'67 did change the line/tube to run parallel with the fuel line on later applications. The 1BC Vac line was at the rear of the carb while the 4BC was still above the mix screws. Sorry, I can't keep my files straight. Cheers.
