66 factory AC parts WIW
We put vintage air in my 66 and I have all of the old Factory AC pieces. Anyone have any suggestions on what it’s worth?

I thought about selling my parts after the Vintage Air install too and then started thinking about the arguments over the condition of 50+ year old parts.
Threw it all away and don't regret it. |

Before my GTO went into long term storage in '02, it was not uncommon for people to ask me if I was willing to sell the A/C parts on my car. There were/are a lot of people who regretted throwing their A/C parts in the trash back before these cars were worth anything, and nobody makes reproduction parts for them. I will be installing a Vintage Air system in my car, too, but the original A/C parts are among the few original parts that I will keep in the shed.

I don’t really have a need for them but I hope someone else does.

Is the radiator included? If the fiberglass parts are intact with no broken pieces and EVERYTHING is there it has some value, especially parted out. A few months ago I priced original a/c components (individually) that were missing on a customer's '72 442, and it would have cost over $1500 to replace.

I will sell the radiator, but I think it is a non AC radiator. The core support was from a non AC car.
I guess I will post it in the parts section for 900 and offer to part it out? |

Probably take forever, but you'll get more $$$ by parting it out.

66 factory AC parts
Holy cow! I just spent the past year tracking down all the missing pieces to my system. Think I finally have it all now, but wish I could have “one stop shopped” it with you.

That’s crazy! I’m not looking for the most money- I will put it up for sale once I can get better pics. Does it matter that it came out of a post car?

Should not matter.

I collect these pieces and store them to avoid them being thrown away, but the demand has dropped way of from a few years back.

I have an evaporator box, heater box and compressor mounting brackets I collected as well before I decided to go with vintage air... Just gotten around to putting them for sale. - Too much junk in the garage to keep all these extra parts.

Don't toss those original AC parts! To a restorer or an original AC car owner, they have a lot of value. $500--$1500. They aren't making those parts anymore!!

They are always being sought after as most only want original GM parts & will bring good money , Ebay is your friend for a nice auction .

Yep, definitely not something to throw out. Somebody will pay decent money for it.
