Axle seal sizes
I have 2 seals with the same part number that are 2 different sizes. National 2146, one is .375, other is about .470. Oddly the new uninstalled seal measures .430. The larger seal pushes my brake caliper bracket too far out for my caliper to fit. What gives with the different sizes? Is this random or did sizes change with location of manufacture? This is for an 8.5 BOP. A9 bearing.

To answer my own question. National brand 2146 axle seal is the correct .375 thick seal. The MasterPro brand from O’Reilly actually measures .420 and the one sent on my new axles measures .470. All the same PN 2146
