Not usually a big fan of the 66 GTO. But this is a KILLER color combo.
White with black conv top and bronze interior.

Yes. He was POCI VP and President and is currently on the POCI BOD.
In my book, he saved POCI

Off the subject, but I see Steve Peluso is commenting, Steve , question, the POCI Convention was held at loon mountain in 1995, great event, I was there! , weather was a little rough, but overall great time and setting, .......Ames , Kevin and Don,,great guys , are in spofford NH,...and always sponsor great events across the country, what the hell happened ? The New England guys F up ? , are we banned for some reason?, It’s not easy for everyone to travel to the mid western states and expensive, ive been a member for 26 years and enjoy smoke signals and have gone to a few of the yankee chapter events, my buddy Joe Peluso , tracked you down one of those trips, pleasure Steve,we enjoyed you’re company, but what’s the problem with us, there is a lot of Pontiac people here in New England that would love to have the convention return, sorry to hit you up and jump in on someone else’s post, but I know you can give an answer that describes at least the issues, thanks Steve, hope to see you at an upcoming show , when this virus takes a hike!, thanks mike

I'm missing your point about the New England guys doing something wrong!

I was co chair of the 87, 95 and 98 POCI conventions.

So I take it that you are unaware of the procedure to host a POCI convention, so here goes!

In order to host a convention, a chapter has to place bid to the POCI Board Of Directors and if there is more than 1 bid, the BOD votes for the best bid. If there is only 1 bid, hopefully it is good enough to get the board approval. Our 1st bid for 1995 got voted down because it wasn't good enough and that was the only bid at the time.

Hosting a convention is a HUGE undertaking and we are all MUCH older now, but The Yankee Chapter will be hosting the 2021 Convention at Mohegan Sun in CT.

So based on this post, it appears to me that you and a bunch of guys are volunteering to help with the convention next year??????????

Thanks Steve, no did not know any of the logistics, wow, makes sense, it was a good time had by all and I didn’t think about the people’s time, I will definitely attend the Connecticut convention, health has kept me out of the hobby for a few years, the other guys I will enlighten them to the process and to get involved, stay safe and see you in 2021

Nice to see the convention coming back east. Will pencil in for CT. I figured it was pretty lucky to have it in Gettysburg which is only a couple of hrs from me. Knew that would be my chance to go as it probably would never be any closer. Unfortunately the heat was way to much for me to handle and I had to pass.
