Heres a few photos from the eighties. Southern California Inland Empire GTO club. One was at the Fairplex in Pomona, may' have been during the LA County fair. The other was at a community park in Chino or Corona.

Default 8 the hard way

Not sure if this pic was posted before but it’s a good one of this car. Most others are a bit blurry.

8 The Hard Way is out of Portland, Oregon. The car is rumored to still be in the area?

I saw it run in Brandimere in 2000 with the inliners club (we had a grudge match vs the flat head Ford Club) it was very impressive to watch run. But they were having trouble with the Altitude. Hard to beleive that was 20 years ago!

That reminds me of some of the artwork in those CARtoon mags from the 70s. I used to sit in English class and copy them back when I liked to draw.

Funny cars have come a long way. Too bad they morphed into something almost unrecognizable as a Factory built car

UHere's me in '99, I was 18, had my T/A a few months and needed a winter vehicle so I picked this '84 K10 with a poorly done lift. Beat the crap out of it,drove a while and sold for something else....wish I had it today.

That must be Eddie Hill's first twin-Pontiac. Nobody else used the engines as structural frame members.
