Very Nice cars! I will have to keep an eye out for the Blackened headlights that came with the street edition cars to complete the look on my coupe! I always like the looks of those cars.

How does it ride with the Upgraded Suspension the SE's have?

Well the Coupe is now Home, I can't believe 30 days ago I had not owned an orange car sense around 1981, now we have 2! The P/O replaced the Base Plastic Solstice steering wheel (with No Audio or Phone control buttons) with a C7 Z06 Steering wheel, and actually got the radio controls working with the Aftermarket Stereo. I am actually impressed by that. I was unsure about the feel of the Suede but it is growing on me. I do like the orange stitching on the wheel. The things I don't care for that he did are the boy racer metal shift knob, and the shiny leather boot he had made. This car originally had the base rubber like shift knob, not the leather style. He said it and the boot were in terrible shape when he bought the car 2 years ago. I think the shifter & Boot will be replaced with stock parts soon.
I also do not car for the Gloss Black painted instrument panel Boomerang, and the matching button covers on the steering wheel. There are a couple of small things like a bad turn signal switch, and the power mirror switch is not hooked up due to the fact that the P/O replaced the door panels with Saturn Sky Panels, and the switch is located about 10 inches farther back and the wires do not reach. Sounds like I will have to splice in an extension to the harness. But overall I am very pleased with the car considering the price I paid. It drives very well, handles and brakes fantastic. It is just a very different driving experiance compared to the LS2 Powered Convertible!

Thanks guys, I could not pass it up when it was offered to me. And it was local (Though alot closer to you Jerry!) so no shipping or travel costs to add up. Still getting used to it. Going to try to change out the shifter & blinker switch later today.

I got a Surprise phone call last night inviting me to bring my coupe to the Eyes on design car show in September

https://carcollectorsclub.com/event/...ember-19-2021/

I was a bit shocked as I never thought I would own a car that would qualify for that show! Its not official yet, but I sent them all the info and pictures they requested. The person that contacted me seemed to think it was a rubber stamp proccess of approval by the selection committee later this month. Fingers crossed!

I have made a few changes to make it look more like a 1 or none Street Edition Coupe. I found and installed the 2 exterior parts missing for the look. a set of NOS plackened head lights, and a set of Street edition twin spoke wheels. I short Corvette C7 antenna to replace the cheap plastic shorty antenna the previous owner installed. And a set of nice used black leather seats to replace the worn cloth seats that came in the car.

I am a bit exited
