Voted. I've got three older White's machines - a Spectrum, Gold Master, and a Surfmaster Pulse . Was just thinking last week that it was time to dig the Spectrum out and have some fun.

Thanks to all. Please vote every day. I used a Whites Spectrum, then went to the DFX. About 6 years ago I was in an auto accident that messed up my back and I found that I couldn't swing the DFX as long as I used to. So, I decided to give the XP Deus a try. I am able to hunt a lot longer with it and enjoy getting out. I have heard great things about the Minelab Equinox 800. That is the machine my buddy uses. If I didn't have the Deus I would get me an 800.

FWIW, I used to work at Fisher as an electronic tech then an engineering tech. I have a modified CZ-5 and modified 1265-X.

I've got a Equinox 800 and a Garrette AT PRO. The oldest coin I've found so far is an 1876 Canadian penny.

The oldest I can get a date from is a 1776 Irish Hibernia. Found it in south west Georgia. I don't have a picture of it on this computer so I'll post a few of my civil war relics instead. The bullets in the third picture all came from the same hole. All but 4 are .69 caliber. The other 4 are .58 caliber.

Done - Best I ever found was a near perfect 1941 Dime, but felt as though it was Christmas

True. And I also follow five different treasure hunting websites. The biggest one is TreasureNet.com.

Well, the contest has ended and my buddy didn't win. A Ukranian won! I think the Russians influenced the vote!
