Default Ignition kills all power

My car is a 1967 Lemanse 326 with hurst 3 speed shifter. When I try to start it, it clicks one time then will not click again an loses all power. Lights will not work with acc switch on. Does anyone have a suggestion?

Could be dead battery. Bad battery cables.

Check and clean all battery connections, at both ends of the cables. Sometimes they can build up corrosion that's not visible until you disconnect them.

battery cable connections x 3
pull that old clamp on end off and clean em up

Same issue happened with me...it turned out the battery was shorted out internally. Try a new battery and cross your fingers....
