That thing is beyond cool.....I don't normaly like stuff like that but as a former Chevette owner it makes me think what could have been.

Neat car.

Why the builder thought a 427 BBC needs 3.90 gears to get that lightweight moving is puzzling, a set of 3.07 cogs would more than suffice.

Wondered the same thing. Traction limited covers this cars acceleration. Swap in an OD trans.

I thought the Monza and Vega were stretched to their limits in holding a small block in place. Wonder how much more that BBC weighs than the original Chevette motor. Maybe just keep it off rough roads - bouncing an engine that's 70% heavier on Chevette bits might not be such a bright idea.
