Question Anti-freeze

Here's a question to ponder with our car's. How often should anti-freeze be changed? In years past it was recommended to change every 2-3 years using the old green stuff. I still use that style. What should be done to maintain good quality freeze & anti-corrosion protection?

Change the Antifreeze every 2-3 years. use a tester to make sure mix is capable of handling -20. Long life antifreeze is not necessary, unless you want to use it (more $$)

I run the green and change it every water pump / teardown or hundred thousand mile mark whichever comes first.

Wow, 100,000 miles?!

As much as these cars sit (well, not NIXON's evidently!!), if you have the time and the budget, consider a full flush (including removing the block plugs) and new mixed fluid (the green stuff) every 3 years. ...cheap insurance in my book

Matt I buy them to drive them you KNOW that. The green antifreeze is a LOT better stuff than the extended life stuff.
