I have timing at 14 degrees btdc,vac advance disconnected at like 675rpm in drive.I can only get 91 octane here..no pinging and car seems to start ok.
Just wondering what sort of advance you 400 guys are running with similar octane? 80TA,pontiac 400,edelbrock carb,accel wires,dual exhaust,dynomax mufflers,no cats,3.42 gears.CE subframe connectors to be installed.On order B&M quicksilver,Polygraphite bodymounts. 15.1 at 96mph 2.47 60ft uncorrected tazzo vpc. 99TAWS6 ..lots of mods.13.35 at 109 2.27 60ft uncorrected tazzo vpc. 1900 ft altitude.
