Default 1965 GTO Red/Red California Survivor

I just put my 1965 GTO on ebay. It's a numbers matching 389 Tri-Power, M21, 3.90:1 Saf-T-Track, Transistor Ignition, Gauge car that's pretty much completely original. It's documented with PHS, Window Sticker, Protecto-Plate, California registrations and Black Plates. Check it out and if you have any questions, feel free to give me a call at (847) 809-8022 Thanks, Ed

Ed what a awesome car. Very few left that are that original and have all the documentation to prove it. Your ebay auction is one of the best layouts I have ever seen. Your pictures are great. I love the ones around the old barns. Good luck with your auction.

I noticed the car on ebay. Fantastic car. The timing is about 2 years too late or I would be all over it. If I had the extra cash I'd still have to get it. Good Luck!!

Ed - that Ebay auction is a work of art (...the car's not bad, either )

Good luck with the sale.

Thanks for all of the compliments gentlemen! It's really a Great old GTO. I had a lot of fun taking the photos of the car and putting the listing together. It took me about a week. Ed

Outstanding Pics and Car! What is really cool about it is the details of the car and the fact that it's not a trailer queen! Notice the burnt off paint on the motor.

Thanks Joe!

I think if anybody drove this car, they would own it. The engine is tight, the choke on the carbs works great and the linkage is beutiful. Over 3,000 people have looked at it with 220 watchers. I thought that it would have been gone by now. I've had over twenty guys call me that seemed really serious. Who knows? Maybe the market is still really soft. Honestly, it can stick around as long as it wants to.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone at Performance Years and thanks for all of the kind words! Ed

I don't think Ebay is the right venue for that car. Seems that most ebay buyers are looking for a 'bargain'. Agreed, the market is soft right now, but your car is definitely worth considerably more than the high bid. Someone is wanting to steal it. But you never know, the high bidder may be willing to pay a lot more. I just wished it would have come along before I did the 65 I have now. I've bought the last two old Pontiacs I've owned off ebay, and I've been very satisfied with the deal I got. Both were sellers in unique positions that really needed to move very nice cars and the average ebay buyer just didn't realize what they were bidding on. They had rather buy fluffed up junk than nice original cars such as yours.

As always, great car & great ad. I have seen some of your other postings in the past.

I would love to add that to my collection, but I cannot afford it. That would be a perfect match to my Montero Red TriPower '66 Hdtp.
