They may have made some in 1971 as well This is the "BIG BLOCK" Pontiac 400, however, completely different than the "BIG BLOCK" Pontiac 350.

And it's in a rare Sprint 6 Tempest convertable too. See those rocker panel decals that says so?

Looks like a kids pedal car in that last photo. LOL

Perhaps BC it is that rare factory two-tone - blue delete - engine paint option?

Not trying to be a smart arse Jerry, but if that is a true GMC 305 V6, it really IS kind of a big block, I think the water pump on that thing weighs about 60 pounds.

I used to work on them for our municipal dept. they are a REAL truck motor!!! lol

Yes, we used to have those in big line truck with booms in the 60's. Then they went to 409's and those blew in about 25K miles then we went to diesels that lasted well over 100K miles.

He should try using photos after he washed it & after he installed the "nice 31's on it".

I guess 'clean' to him means it's over ten years old and has less than 150,000 miles.

Dont forget about the 712 CI V12s that were made off the same design, with 4 cylinder heads.

No rust, on a 4wd vehicle from PA? That shows dirt on it? Right, maybe not visible on the outside, but if it was ever driven in the winter there, I guarantee there are some brake lines ready to split, and rusted undercarraige and suspension parts. That is the deal with these newer cars, lots of plastic shielding to prevent outer body rust, but the underside rusts to oblivion with salt just like it always has.

Im not a fan of the "Wronglers" but I think some with different packages had higher ground clearance than the base models
