Exclamation 8.5" 10-bolt rear for sale

8.5" 10-bolt rear out of a 2nd gen. T/A. Posi but unknown gears (probably 3.23 or 3.42 since they're factory). Complete drum-to-drum. Asking $200. Clearing out garage and stuff has to go. Will not ship, local pickup in Baltimore area only.

there is a date stamp & code on the passenger side axle tube near the pumpkin that will tell you the gear ratio.

I've already pulled the rear cover to inspect it, and all is in good shape, I just haven't bothered to pull the codes off the ring gear. It came out of a T/A and it has the posi differential in it, so it's likely 3.23 or 3.42.

just suggesting a quick easy way to verify the year & ratio by looking at the date & code stamped on the axle. just because its posi does not mean its likely 3.23 or 3.42... plenty of posi t/a's with lower number ratios. but either way, a buyer will want to know for sure what the ratio is.
