RIP, I met him a couple of times in the mid 1970's buying OHC-6 part from him. He always treated me very well, and I am sure I was an iratating teenager at the time!

I always loved seeing pics of that '57(IIRC) 421 Powered Corvette that his shop built. Believe one of the more recent POCI mag, Smoke Signals articles mentioned a project 74 GTO that George and his shop were working. (sounds like a lot of cool stuff went through his shop) RIP Sir

Always saddened to hear these reports. George befriended me while balancing a RAIII 400 for me. I bought my 'Doug's' headers from him after he explained that I could buy these cheaper somewhere else. I elected to support him at his shop near the expressway in Troy(?). A mentor to me, for sure. Gone to a Better Place !!
