I understand. Exhaust is a tough decision and sound levels are different for different people. I've even completely changed the tone on an exhaust system just by changing the engine combination around slightly while still using the same exhaust. My wife noticed it right away when she drove it, stating it sounds different. Not louder, just different. Same Pypes SGF70 transverse system.

If you want to get an idea of what chamber systems sound like, there should be 69 Z28's on youtube with chamber exhaust. On these cars you will find a 2 1/4" factory type chamber setup with 4 of these chamber tubes since that is all that is reproduced for these cars as far as I know. So if that system sounds loud to you, then you can imagine what a 3" system will sound like with 2 tubes.

vts, yes maybe fail maybe not, its just a spring and plate that pivots its stainless so not going to rust, no issues with mine so far, and its works I tried the known brands they don't, if you want power then you need and have to use straight thru right ? soon as you chamber you loose power right ? the vts give you straight thru power but dead quite cruise, why would you not try them its not going to break the bank really they are not that much, and you waste money like I did trying different sets which just don't work, or never did for me, its great to cruise and hear virtually just the tires and a soft v8 sound, but just a quick stab on the pedal and bang you and everyone else knows you got the goods !, I often pull into a friends place and they say I didn't hear you come in, that's quite cruising, no drone yeah, if you read thru all posts most if not all from memory that use vts say they are perfect, what more do u need....get them stop looking for magic mufflers they don't exist, if its power you want then its straight thru you want and will get drone at some point in the rpm.......

My Dynomax 17749 Super Turbos and h pipe combo is completely drone free. Previous to the 17749's, I had 50 Series Flowmasters on the car. It was impossible to hold a conversation in the car with the Flowmasters. A simple muffler change made a complete transformation.
