Steve,

Looks as good as the day you sold it, what 3 years ago now??!! Problem with our car is you sorted everything out and then some! There's no tinkering to do! What fun is that??

Not true I know of a 70 formula in solid shape needing no major panel replacement 400/auto with A/C red car sandlewood interior

Also a white 71 4 speed car needing no major panel replacement

Non original motor cars but but both priced at less then 5k. Good price if you really want one

Hey Fastarse,
A 5K 1st gen is a parts car!
It is a rather uncommon car for under 10K.

I suppose it's just like anything else. Relative to location. Both those cars are very solid body cars and mostly complete. Being formulas I'd say no where near parts cars the 70 is a basket case but would take two trips with a truck and trailer to get all the parts home. The 71 is minus engine and trans but otherwise all there. As for first gen cars well those are hit or miss here in CA. I know of a 67 400 auto car with a/c deluxe black interior that is 50k original mile car that runs for 8k. Needs a right quarter skin but otherwise just minor tlc. I know a 68 400/auto vert with almost every option imaginable for 10k needs a complete resto but all there. Know of a 68 400 auto shell for 1500 and a 71 esprite car for 4k. Last but not least I know a 70 Trans Am for sale for 7k now personally that is a project care as the body is REALLY rough but still given its lineage worth trying to save. All are good builders solid solid foundations to build a quality car (except the 67 personally I'd replace the skin and leave it alone). We do benefit in CA by having better sheet metal I suppose. Well my point is they are still out there and still affordable

Fastassbird -
the 70 Formula you mentioned has a clean body with no rust issues? I'm in California, so might be interested.

Brewster do you already have a judge vert picked out. If not I have a nice one I'm getting ready to sell. Let me know if you have any interest.
