I think that a Lucy Blue car with a white interior would have been cool too, but since white wasn't available in 70, I'd have to agree that it is the best combination. Now if I could only find one...

Chuck:

I wouldn't lock myself down to a 70. If you want Lucy Blue over White guts open your choices up to 71-72, unless of course you are going to clone a RAIV car. Tough to get them to run right with 10.5 CR on pump gas. I'd rather have the torque of a big ole 455.

Wanna buy an SD 4 speed car? Blue over white!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hmmmmm?

superdutybob - Got my heart set on a 70 even though like you said the 455's are more friendly to the pump-gas. I told you before, I'd love to buy your SD! Would match my 79 PERFECTLY! However, I just went around the house and turned all the sofa's upside down, but I still haven't found enough coin to buy a 4sp SD..... Anyway I thought you were selling it to Brewster???

I'd tell you but I'd have to kill you. It will probably start with C and end with hallenger. Wrong forum to discuss here though.

Brewster - They must be playing subliminal messages at that plant in Michigan. First Dick with the "V" car and now Bob with the "C" Car.... seems like it is becoming an epidemic.

Bob - You got me thinking and I really like the Idea of a Lucy Blue/White 455Ho car. Know of one???

Now you're coming around! No, I don't know of one but I can keep my eyes open. You may want to edit your post or start another one.

Are you a potential buyer? LOL

I don't drive it enough to justify owning it. I want to paint it but can't afford to. I'm stuck in a quandry if you know what I mean.

pmdclassics - I have to agree with Bob, that is a great looking car! But I am looking at getting another 4sp though. Too Bad it is real nice.

Bob- Took your advice and started a new post for a 71/72 HO car to see what I can come up with. I've always wanted a Blue/Black 70, and will still be looking, but the idea of another Blue/White car is very appealing to me. Let me know if you find something!
