Don't know if this should be in another section but... Just spotted on local Craigslist:

Wish I had a larger bank account right now.

I figured somebody on here would appreciate them. I like the Star Chief too, but having been laid off 2x in 6 months leaves the $ only for what's necessary. If they're true Northwest cars they should be fairly free of rust too.

That Star Chief is way overpriced IMO, that convertible looks decent. PNW cars rust too. It snows in eastern WA and Spokane used to use salt on the streets.

Yes it does snow here, but I don't ever recall salt being used. If so it wasn't as much as the East. Compare any of these from the "rust belt" and they look pretty darn good. We do get rusty cars, but in the last 30 years I haven't had to deal with a lot of it. The bigger problem we had was the eruption of Mt. StHelens. That ash settled in every nook and cranny it could find, add a little rain and it turned to a nice paste that held moisture for days. Thats where more of our rust problems come from!

They used it back in the 50's,60's,70's. They didn't use it straight like back east, they used a salt sand mix. When I was growing up there I used to see a lot of rusted out cars.... The cars there don't hold a candle to the east coast rust buckets though.

Snow is the price we pay for the 3 other seasons of habitable weather. There are some individuals that enjoy the stuff, but I'm inclined to think they need counseling. I am diligently working on my plan to get people to send me money just for being me, so I can winter in warmer climates.

I'd rather deal with a few months of 100+ weather than a few days of snow. Screw that. 32 degrees is freezing my ass off haha

The 105 and humid doesn't bother me so much
