Good Guys Show Pontiacs!
Just got back from Good Guys Great Northwest Nationals. A great show, and Pontiacs were well represented this time. I was there with my '66 Bonneville and I had the pleasure of speaking with a gentleman that brought his '65 2+2 Cat. 421, 4 speed, 4 barrel, buckets, no console, 8 lugs. Original owner no less. I got pics , unfortunately didn't get pics of the convertable that parked next to him. Also a 421 4 speed car, with console, tach, and vacuum gauge on the console. Sort of a maroon color in excellent condition. Lots of GTO's and tempests too.

The '65 Cat. 2+2 owner needs to register his car with Jack Anderson at www.pontiac2plus2registry.com

I don't know if you can tell from the pic, but he still has the window sticker too. Car was just under $5000 new.

The only 1965 2+2 I know of in that area belongs to a member here "Daniel T. Stevenson." It fits your description except it has a 3 speed on the floor. He lives in the Everett area.
Here, I found a picture of his car. Was it this one?

It's a Spokane car, originally out of Denver. It was cool to see a convert. and a hardtop side by side. Only 3 of us "Darksiders" there.

I'm pretty sure that black 2+2 was in Hemmings Muscle Machines a while back (might have been the one with the "2+2 buyers guide" article).

Gentleman that owns the car has to be in his 70's. Real nice guy. Pontiac show coming up on the 28th too. Should see a few more big cars. Last year there was a '65 421 wagon!
